As a financial professional with AXA Advisors, LLC, I am dedicated to helping my clients build, enhance, and protect their financial futures.  As one of the largest financial institutions in the world, AXA helps me offer my clients innovative tools to fit a wide range of financial needs.  I have built my practice around working through the retirement needs of West Michigan area public school employees', as well as,  helping local businesses and individuals reach their financial goals.

 

I'm responsible for running and growing a legal technology consulting firm, D.C. Estrada, which I started.  D.C. Estrada helps smart litigators and corporate clients manage electronic evidence in litigation (a process called e-discovery).  When individuals or companies sue or get sued, they're required to hand over electronically stored information that may be relevant to the case: e-mail, text messages, voicemail, electronic documents – anything that's relevant is fair game.  E-discovery is usually painful and expensive, especially for mid-sized and large companies that have a lot of data.  Our firm helps attorneys manage that process to save their clients money and ensure the best possible outcome, and we help corporate clients prepare for that process proactively to make litigation cheaper and easier.

 

As Project Engineer at The Christman Company my primary responsibilities focus around handling the correspondence between the construction team and Architect/Engineer, processing the contract change orders, updating the drawings and managing quality assurance and quality control. I became a LEED Accredited Professional last year giving me more experience for the new trend in the construction industry.  I also coordinate some of the work in the field preparing me to become a Superintendent where I will manage the day-to-day field operation on the construction site.

 

I am a freelance marketing consultant.  My services include strategic planning, branding, e-marketing, social media, copywriting, proofreading, web banner advertisements, and publicity. As a marketing consultant, the key traits I possess are strategic thinking, innovation, creativity, the ability to achieve goals, and having a vision of the future. Currently, my primary client is an online store featuring storage & organizational products, www.HomeStorageWarehouse.com. I am proud to help local Michigan clients grow their business and stay in Michigan. In addition, I am a Professional Member of the American Marketing Association - West Michigan Chapter and the eMarketing Association, and I will complete my Master of Business Administration degree this August 2010. I also currently work full-time & have about three years experience in marketing in the financial services industry and have previously worked for three years in marketing in the food & beverage industry.

 

I am charged with growing and strengthening our relationships with a select group of organizations and employee market segments within those organizations in order to retain our current donor base and identify and sell new revenue and educational opportunities within each company or organization.

 

As the Assistant to the Director of a busy country club, I am involved in many different aspects of daily operations.  My responsibilities include coordinating our Junior Sports Program, collaborating with the Director of Member Relations and Events on membership marketing, event execution and enhancing the member experience, overseeing facility projects, creating and executing management systems, designing special event menus, and assisting in inventory management.  One of my favorite features of this job is that day to day, tasks vary greatly, and life is always fresh and interesting.

 

As part of the small business group, I help small business owners with their accounting and payroll needs, QuickBooks training and prepare the tax returns. It is also part of my job to market the small business group and bring in new clients.

 

My responsibilities fall within Regulatory Affairs of supporting NDA/ANDA applications. More specifically, it is about obtaining drug product approvals (with exclusivity), which allows us to be first-to-market or at the least, apart of waive one market launches to gain the greatest market-share. We support Perrigo's business objectives by submitting high quality applications to FDA (or other agencies) to meet first-to-file opportunities and to improve our new drug development/ regulatory cycle times to ensure quicker approvals in order to meet the needs of our customers who are seeking affordable healthcare drug products.  

 

My responsibilities include working with business associates in ensuring new sales are routed to the correct departments for planning, development, completion to manufacture.  I further ensure key prospects are followed closely so as to assume the responsibility of communicating product flow and completion to sales management.

 

As a designer at DVS, I am able to handle our ever growing client base by assisting with project management and client relations as well as adding another innovative vision to the company's existing skill set.  I most recently worked in the Chicago market as a Director of Photography on commercial and corporate shoots along with training in digital composition / design.

I wanted to work at DVS Creative because of the potential I saw in working with their existing clientele. DVS is a known name, a brand, but DVS Creative is still very much a young company. It's nice to be a part of a growing organization. Plus the people are fantastic, and that is really important anywhere you work.

 

Originally from Grand Rapids, I moved back into the area after 5 years of working for Clear Channel Radio in Albany, New York. My job is to come up with creative and cost effective ways to grow local business via radio advertising. My normal day includes cold calling, meeting with local business owners and creating ideas and solutions to solve their marketing objectives. So far, I am excited and impressed with the forward motion that Grand Rapids has made in the past 5 years. It's great to be back!

 

As the Project Manager at DVS, I am able to handle our ever growing client base by assisting with project management and client relations as well as adding another innovative vision to the company's existing skill set. Before joining the DVS team I owned and operated a production company called West Edge Media. I am excited to become a part of a growing company that puts a strong focus on client relations and has strong ties to the film industry.

 

As a Graphic Designer at Paula Scott Unlimited, I am in charge of designing the look and feel of our clients voice through various branding materials, such as business cards, billboards, brochures, websites and print ads. Our client base is varied which means I'm always working on a new project and using every aspect of my design background, including visual and three-dimensional design. From directing the visual look of a photo shoot, cohesively reflecting the design of a brand into an office environment, to the design and arrangement of store displays, I get a chance to use all of my strengths and acquire new skills along the way. I'm happy to say that almost everyday that I come to work I learn something new and have the ability to explore my creativity. It's a great environment to work in, including the fact that I'm a dog lover and we have Charles, a little Terrier, as our office mascot.

 

I work for a small business law firm that has offices in downtown Grand Rapids and Holland.  For my firm, I specialize in employment law (assisting employers with their human resource-related legal issues), health law (drafting contracts for health facilities and advising them on regulatory issues) and estate planning (assisting clients with end-of-life planning by drafting wills and trusts).  We provide individualized attention to our clients, making them feel like friends in addition to business associates.  It is our goal to take their problems off their minds and find the best possible resolution for their situation.

 

At Williams Group, we plan, design and manage strategic communications programs. As a Project Coordinator, I work with our corporate, foundation and nonprofit clients to ensure a seamless project experience by developing the right timelines, carefully tracking budgets and managing project resources. I typically work on sales and social campaigns, website development and branding projects.
